Meet Dr. Chad Smith

Dr. Smith, originally from a small town outside Boise, Idaho, earned his Zoology degree from Idaho State University before graduating from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2015. After practicing general dentistry in Texas and Denver, he decided to specialize in endodontics and completed his training at the University of Louisville under renowned educators Dr. Kent Sabey and Dr. Stephen Clark. Dr. Smith is a Board Eligible Candidate of the American Board of Endodontics and is diligently pursuing the final steps of the certification process.

With over 14 years of experience, Dr. Smith is dedicated to educating his patients and providing compassionate care. While the vast majority of patients are pleasantly surprised with how comfortable they are during treatment, Dr. Smith understands that root canal treatment can be a long, difficult process, and he has tried to develop the ability to calm and comfort his patients as much as possible. “Wow, that was so much better than I expected!” are Dr. Smith’s favorite words to hear. 

Dr. Smith loves treating his patients, but firmly believes that his most important job in life is to be the best husband and father he can be. He is madly in love with his wife of 13 years, and the happiest times during his day are with her and their 5 children. Dr. Smith feels more comfortable on a boat than on land and loves to pass the winter months snow-skiing in order to prepare for summer water-skiing.
